Prochip Flooring Process

A great choice for garage floors, Prochip is a seamless vinyl chip flooring system. Our aim is to help educate our clients with as much transparency as possible in regards to our process. These images will give you an idea of how our Prochip flooring systems go down.

Great preparation for the floor is crucial to our process. We start by surface profiling the concrete which creates a mechanical bond for the material to adhere to.

Once cracks are chased out the profiled concrete is ready for the first coat of urethane.

Once the concrete is profiled we prep the surface with moisture vapor transmission barrier.

Then we broadcast designer chips.

After the epoxy has cured, we take up all the excess chips then coat the floor with two more layers of resin.

The final coat of resin is more than five times abrasion resistant than epoxy.
